This year's Independence Day flower show at Lalbagh showcased a Kerala styled houseboat decked with multi-colored roses.

However, apart from the main attraction, there weren't many other flower displays to boast of this year.

The Republic Day flower show in Lalbagh this time has brought the splendor of Paris to Bangalore with the Eiffel tower made of roses and orchids being the main attraction.

This year's Independence Day flower show was supposed to be a slightly low key affair due to the drought situation in most parts of the state. In spite of that, the show was pretty impressive.
